Femap

Femap is a state-of-the-art finite element modeling software application used as a pre- and post-processor for engineering simulation and analysis. Femap works in combination with a wide variety of finite element analysis (FEA) solvers, including the industry-leading NX Nastran application, to deliver a comprehensive computer-aided engineering analysis (CAE) solution that helps ensure products perform as designed in any type of real-world environment. Femap is the finite element modeling component of the Mainstream Engineering portfolio.

Femap is CAD-independent and leverages the Siemens Digital Industries Software Parasolid modeling kernel that allows direct access to Parasolid data for surface and solid modeling in addition to advanced geometric tools necessary for accessing non-Parasolid geometry.
