For those who have the passion and creativity to engineer a better world, we provide the training and mentorship they need to innovate solutions that address the biggest challenges being faced by the manufacturing industry. Through the Tata Technologies InnoVent program, we aim to ignite the passion for innovation among engineering students, foster collaboration, and provide a platform where they can showcase their talent. Young innovators will have a distinctive opportunity to contribute towards solving real-world challenges through projects across a wide range of topics, including electric vehicles, autonomous vehicles, data and AI engineering, smart manufacturing, and IoT.
We will empower the shortlisted project team/s with the innovation tools and technologies they need to innovate, design and engineer the next-generation product engineering and digital transformation solutions. Our Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) will mentor and guide the top performing team/s and help them shape their projects for scalability and impact. Together, we will shape the future of technology and create a significant impact
The Tata Technologies InnoVent stage 1 project registration window is now closed. We will be announcing the projects that have been shortlisted for stage 2 by 22 September 2023.
Key stages
Our 3-stage project selection process comprises of detailed evaluation of the project concept as per evaluation criteria, plagiarism checks and evaluation by subject matter experts, leading to the selection of the top 3 winning team/s.
Stage 1 – Project registration
To participate, teams need to register by submitting their project application form. Once the application form passes a plagiarism check, a panel of experts will review each team’s submission and shortlist the promising projects.
Stage 2 – Virtual POC presentation
The stage-1 shortlisted teams will present a technical presentation and virtual Proof Of Concept / Prototype on their project to a panel of SMEs through Microsoft Teams. The top teams from this pool will then advance to the final demo round.
Stage 3 – Final demo day
The top shortlisted team demonstrate their Proof Of Concept / Prototype to our jury panel in a physical event followed by a Q&A session. The top teams will be identified as winners.

Eligibility criteria
Tata Technologies InnoVent is open to all Diploma, B.E., B.Tech. and Dual Degree final year, pre-final year engineering students in India. All one needs is a passion for engineering and innovation
