To empower automotive engineers, Tata Technologies developed an interactive AI/ML framework in-house. The framework, which supported end-to-end data science and Machine Learning lifecycle, facilitated collaboration between data scientists and domain experts while enabling the MLOps process.
Unlike general purpose AI, the framework focused on engineering and manufacturing-related problems, with an inbuilt knowledge management system, which drives machine learning solutions. It completely transformed the way the customer functions worked. The intuitiveness of the framework allowed automotive engineers with basic knowledge of AI/ML to develop and deploy ML models in a few clicks.
The framework helped to standardize the end-to-end deployment of ML across the organization, while taking care of specialized chipsets, scalable computing platforms, software frameworks, tools, and best-in-class ML algorithms.
We have developed more than 40+ AI/ML apps so far for facilitating design and development, predictive quality, predictive maintenance, connected vehicle platform, and transition towards Industry 4.0. The customer realized ~30% reduction in testing expenses and simulation time per vehicle, 22% improvement in productivity, and 100% uptime.
