Warren Harris

CEO & Managing Director

Warren Harris is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Director (MD) at Tata Technologies. Warren became the CEO of the company in 2014. He served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Tata Technologies’ business for 11 years from April 2009 to April 2020.

Warren has been a part of Tata Technologies and its predecessor companies for more than 25 years. He began his career as an engineer, before migrating into technical management roles. He played an integral role in Tata Technologies’ 2013 acquisition of Cambric Corp., which solidified the company’s position in the industrial machinery engineering services market and expanded its global footprint into Eastern Europe. More recently, under his leadership, the company acquired Sweden-based automotive engineering and design house, Escenda Engineering AB.

Warren holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree (Honors) from the University of Wales Institute of Science and Technology. He is a member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers and is a Chartered Engineer. He graduated from the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program and was conferred with an honorary Ph.D. degree by Amity University for his distinguished achievements.

Pawan Bhageria, who has been a part of the Tata Technologies family since 2012, was appointed as the President of the Global HR, IT, Admin & Education unit of the organization in December 2021. He commenced his journey at Tata Technologies as the Sr. Vice President of the Manufacturing and IT Practice before assuming the role of the President of Tata Motors Ltd. (TML) SBU in November 2015.

In his current role, Pawan is responsible for driving strategic business benefits for the organization through digital transformation, talent management, engineering, and technology education transformation in alignment with the industry needs. He brings more than 30 years of experience in the automotive, manufacturing, and IT industry, leading various business transformation, business development, and sales programs throughout his career.

Pawan has earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, followed by an MBA in Systems & Finance from XLRI, Jamshedpur. He is a board member, strategic advisory board member, and speaker at NASSCOM, CII, and many other prominent institutions.

Savitha Balachandran joined as the Chief Financial Officer at Tata Technologies in July 2020. In her current role, Savitha is responsible for finance, accounting, procurement, corporate planning, business finance, and internal audit.

Before joining Tata Technologies, she worked in Tata Motors Ltd. for over 18 years. She was the General Manager in Tata Motors’ Mergers and Acquisitions team and, prior to that, held various lead roles in Organizational Strategy and Treasury as well as led the Investor Relations and Capital Budgeting functions in the organization.

Savitha has completed the CFA program and received a Fulbright-CII Fellowship for Leadership in Management from the Tepper School of Business, Carnegie Mellon University, USA. She joined Tata Motors from university in 2002 and was identified early in her career as a rising star.

Sonal Ramrakhiani

Sonal Ramrakhiani is the President of Sales for the Global Automotive Non-Captive business at Tata Technologies. She took over this position in April 2021 and is responsible for overall sales and business growth of the Automotive non-captive vertical across all our regions.

Sonal joined Tata Technologies in August 2016 and till March 2021, she was the President of Sales & COO of the Americas region, responsible for the territory’s P&L leading all Sales, Marketing, IT, HR, and Administrative functions. With over 22 years of experience, she is a sales leader focused on building long-term client relationships. Before Tata Technologies, she held several key leadership roles for the IT outsourcing major, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS).

Sonal is being recognized among the top 100 leading women in the North American Automotive industry. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management. She is a part of TAS (formerly Tata Administrative Services), the Tata group’s flagship leadership program. She is also a senior Tata Business Excellence Model (TBEM) assessor and has led several assessments of Tata companies.

Aloke Palsikar

Executive Vice President and Head of Growth Industries

Aloke Palsikar joined Tata Technologies as the Executive Vice President & Head of Growth Industries in 2021. Before joining Tata Technologies, Aloke spent 16+ years with Tech Mahindra, where he held various managerial and leadership positions, which included heading the sales team as well as managing the global manufacturing vertical and the P&L for Continental Europe.

In his current role, Aloke is responsible for global sales, business development, and customer management initiatives for the growth industries and businesses in the Nordic countries. Aloke brings strong leadership skills backed by over 30 years of experience in the IT and engineering services market and several years of global experience in running large business transformation programs for customers. He has profound knowledge of the manufacturing sector, including automotive, aerospace, and industrial customers.

Aloke holds M. Tech in Electrical Engineering from IIT Bombay, MEP in Management from IIM Ahmedabad, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from V.J.T.I., Mumbai. He has been recognized with various notable honors and recognitions for his contribution throughout his career, including the Best Sales Performance and the Largest Deal Win for the year.

Prahalada Rao joined Tata Technologies as the President & Client Partner for the organization’s Tata Motors Ltd. (TML) SBU division in June 2021. Before joining Tata Technologies, Prahalada worked at Mahindra & Mahindra for over 27 years in various managerial and leadership roles in areas extending from business strategy, product development, and digital transformation to change management.

In his last role at Mahindra & Mahindra, Prahalada headed the Business Strategy, Transformation & Planning division, Auto & Farm sector. He joined the company in 1994 and led the concept development of several global platforms, such as XUV 500, Tivoli, Scorpio, Rexton G4, KUV 100, Bolero pickup trucks, THAR, and several diesel and gasoline powertrains.

Prahalada holds a PGDM from SP Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bangalore University. He is a part of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) at Tata Technologies focused on driving strategies to accelerate business transformation and ensure financial returns.

Nachiket Paranjpe serves as the President of the JLR & Embedded Sales division at Tata Technologies. He joined the company in 2019 as a Sr. Vice President – Europe region and has risen through the ranks within a short span of three years to initially being promoted as the Executive Vice President in August 2021 and then as the President in July 2022. 

Nachiket has over 25+ years of experience across the Automotive & Transportation, Industrial Products, Medical, and Telecom industries in various parts of the world, including Europe, Asia, and the United States. In his current role, Nachiket is responsible for managing one of Tata Technologies’ key OEM relationships globally as well as the German automotive business. He also plays an additional role as the Global Executive Sponsor for Embedded Software. 

Nachiket holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from Purdue University (Krannert School of Business), USA.

Sriram Lakshminarayanan joined as the President and Chief Technical Officer of Tata Technologies in September 2021. Before joining Tata Technologies, Sriram worked at IBM India Private Limited for over 19 years.

Sriram has over 24 years of IT experience in handling various transformational and change management roles in consulting, sales, pre-sales, and solutions across three geographies (Americas, Europe, and the Asia Pacific). In his current role, he leads all the practice functions – embedded, engineering, industry, and digital. As a Global Practice Head, he is responsible for building digital, engineering, industry, and partnership ecosystems to facilitate the topline growth.

Sriram holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication from Madurai Kamaraj University. He is a recipient of the Best of IBM award, which is regarded as the most prestigious honor in IBM.

Santosh Singh

Senior VP & Global Head – Marketing, BE & Innovation

Santosh Singh is the Global Head of Marketing and Business Excellence at Tata Technologies. He joined the company in 2017 as Sr. Vice President – Business Excellence and Innovation and has been responsible for developing the Business Excellence plan for Tata Technologies. He played an integral role in helping the company achieve the Emerging Industry Leader award in 2020 as part of the Tata Business Excellence Model framework along with multiple innovation awards across Tata InnoVista and NASSCOM.  He took over the Marketing function in 2019 and has been responsible for nurturing the customer-centricity program at Tata Technologies, helping the company become the leading Global Digital Brand.

Santosh has over 20 years of work experience, of which the last 17 years have been with the Tata group, working across several Tata Companies and functions around quality, new product development, strategy, marketing, and business excellence. Before joining the Tata Group, Santosh worked with Bharti Airtel and Park group.

Santosh is a Science graduate from Calcutta University and has an MBA. He is a strategic advisory board member at various B-Schools and a speaker at prominent institutions. Santosh has been recognized by leading media outlets like Economic Times as the best B2B Tech Marketer and has won the Tata InnoVista Regional Innovation award for breakthrough innovations. 

Anjali Balagopal

Anjali Balagopal

Anjali Balagopal serves as Tata Technologies’ General Counsel and oversees all the legal matters of the company. She is a senior counsel with expertise in corporate law and a trusted partner to business leaders. 

Before joining Tata Technologies in July 2020, Anjali assumed the role of Assistant General Counsel and AVP at Infosys Ltd.  During a career that spanned 15 years at Infosys, Anjali’s responsibilities included all aspects of the legal function together with assignments in both India and the United States. During her tenure, she held various roles starting from an Associate to being promoted to the position of an AVP.

Anjali has earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from ILS Law College, Pune. She currently ranks among the 100 most powerful women in law in India. She is also a prominent speaker at various domestic and international forums.

Subramanian Ramadorai

Mr. S. Ramadorai was in public service from February 2011 to October 2016. During his tenure as the Chairman of the National Skill Development Agency (NSDA) and the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) his approach was to standardize the skilling effort, ensure quality and commonality of outcomes by leveraging technology and create an inclusive environment to co-operate, collaborate & co-exist.

He strongly believed that empowering the youth with the right skills can define the future of the country. Mr. Ramadorai is currently the Chairman of the Advisory Board at Tata STRIVE, which is the Tata Group’s CSR skill development initiative that aims to address the pressing national need of skilling youth for employment, entrepreneurship and community enterprise. He is also the Chairman of Tata Technologies Limited and additionally serves as an Independent Director on the Boards of Piramal Enterprises Limited, Piramal Pharma Limited and DSP Investment Managers. In March 2016, he retired as the Chairman of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE Limited) after having served on their board for a period of 6 years.

Mr. Ramadorai took over as the CEO of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in 1996 when the company’s revenues were at $ 155 million and since then led the company through some of its most exciting phases, including its going public in 2004. In October 2009, he retired as the CEO, leaving a $ 6 billion global IT services company to his successor. He was then appointed as the Vice Chairman and retired in October 2014, after an association of over 4 decades with the company.

Given his keen passion to work for the social sector and community initiatives, he also serves as the Chairman on the Council of Management at the National Institute of Advanced Studies (NIAS) and is the Chairperson of the Governing Board at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS). He is also the President of the Society for Rehabilitation of Crippled Children (SRCC) – which has recently built a super specialty children’s hospital in Mumbai. In February 2020, Mr. Ramadorai was also appointed as the Chairperson of the Kalakshetra Foundation’s Governing Board by the Union Ministry of Culture.

In recognition of his commitment and dedication to the IT industry he was awarded the Padma Bhushan (India’s third highest civilian honour) in January 2006. In April 2009, he was awarded the CBE (Commander of the Order of the British Empire) by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II for his contribution to the Indo-British economic relations. In 2016, he was also awarded The Economic Times – Lifetime Achievement Award for his glorious contribution to Tata Consultancy Services.

His academic credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Delhi University (India), a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru (India) and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of California – UCLA (USA). In 1993, Ramadorai attended the Sloan School of Management’s highly acclaimed Senior Executive Development Program.

Ramadorai is a well-recognized global leader and technocrat who has participated in the Indian IT journey from a mere idea in 1960’s to a mature industry today. Ramadorai captured this exciting journey in a wonderfully personalized book titled ‘The TCS Story…and beyond’ which was published in 2011 and remained on top of the charts for several months.

Among his many interests, Ramadorai is also passionate about photography and Indian classical music.

Ajoyendra Mukherjee

Mr. Ajoyendra Mukherjee (Ajoy) completed his B.E. (Honours) in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from BITS Pilani in 1980. He joined Tata Consultancy Services, a leading global IT services, consulting and business solutions organization in 1980, immediately after his graduation from BITS and was the Executive Vice President & Global Head of Human Resources before superannuating from TCS in April 2019.

Additionally, he was also the head of India and Middle East & Africa (MEA) business units of TCS and also headed its Global CSR function.

During his tenure in TCS, Ajoy has worked in diverse roles and a variety of technical platforms. He has played a key role in several landmark engagements in Banking & Financial Services, Utilities, Manufacturing and Government. He has held key leadership positions and headed TCS operations in Eastern India, Country Head of Switzerland and South Africa and was also the Global head of Energy & Utilities Practice.

As the head of TCS Eastern India Operations, he has been a key architect for TCS’ growth in the region and has led the delivery of a number of challenging programs for TCS customers worldwide from delivery centers located in eastern India.

In his role as the Head of Global Human Resources function for TCS since 2008, he played a key role in scaling up TCS to over 400,000 professionals spread across 50 countries and ensured that the global HR function continuously responded to the challenges and opportunities of a dynamic industry. As a member of the leadership team of the company, he has been driving initiatives to successfully navigate the company through multiple technology changes including the Digital Transformation journey of TCS and its customers. He played a key role in building a culture of continuous learning and upskilling at TCS that helped in building a skilled and culturally-diverse global workforce relevant for the customers changing requirements. During his tenure, TCS had the best Employee Retention rates in the Industry. Under Ajoy’s leadership TCS received many HR accolades and awards including the recognition as Top Employer globally for four consecutive years.

Ajoy, in addition to his HR responsibility was also head of TCS CSR function and was responsible for Global Strategy, Planning and Execution of key CSR engagements along with Partners to deliver the desired outcomes and served on the Boards of various TCS subsidiaries. Under his leadership TCS earned a place in the Global Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) for five consecutive years.

Ajoy superannuated from TCS in April, 2019 and now lives in Kolkata. He is currently associated with a number of Engineering Colleges in Kolkata as an advisor and serves as Director on the Boards of reputed companies in public and private sector.

Aarthi Sivanandh is a partner at J. Sagar Associates, a premier national law firm. Aarthi’s practice focuses on the full spectrum of corporate laws and transactional matters: mergers and acquisitions, representing strategic acquirers and sellers in cross border transactions, bidders and target companies; advising on venture capital and private equity transactions in technology, manufacturing, healthcare and financial services sectors and on foreign collaborations including joint ventures and licensing transactions

Her expertise is also called for in the areas of corporate governance and in managing risks and liabilities associated with compliance of ESG regulations. Her work in the private wealth practice, involves assistance with the use of wills, trusts, inter and intra family arrangements of closely held business interests, to enable clients to bequeath, transfer and manage business interests. She also leads the internationally recognized pro-bono practice of J. Sagar Associates.

Prior to J. Sagar Associates, Aarthi was a foreign legal consultant in the USA until 2006 concentrating on corporate and transactional advisory work in the US-India business corridor. She co-founded Vichar Partners, a law firm that merged its practice with J Sagar Associates in 2014.

Usha Sangwan, 64 years, was the first ever woman Managing Director of LIC of India (“LIC”), the largest life insurer in the World in terms of number of customers. She is post graduate in Economics, a post graduate Diploma holder in Human Resource Management and Licentiate from Insurance Institute of India. She joined LIC in 1981 as a Direct Recruit Officer and handled various important positions during her 37 years of stint in LIC, finally reaching the top position of Managing Director. Her expertise lies in analytics, strategy, execution, people skill, customer centricity, use of technology particularly in marketing and servicing and setting up of systems.

She is presently Independent Director on the Boards of Torrent Power, Trident Ltd, Axis Pension Fund and SBI Life. She is also member of Financial Services Institutions Board, constituted by Govt. of lndia for selection of Board level positions in Public Sector Financial Institutions. Previously she has served on the Boards of BSE Ltd, Axis Bank, Grasim Industries, Ambuja Cement, GIC Re, LIC International Singapore, Bahrain, Sri Lanka and Nepal, amongst others.

She has featured in Forbes magazine amongst top 50 Power Business Women of Asia. She has also been awarded Most Powerful Business Woman Award by Business Today and Business World for three years consecutively. She was featured in Femina and on the cover page of Bureaucracy. She was honored by 92.7 Big FM, Colour TV, Dun & Bradstreet and Loksatta among others. She has won many more accolades and awards. She is a member of Women Empowerment Program of Niti Aayog, Govt. of India, member of BCCI Fempower program and a Chartered member of the Association of International Wealth Managers of India. She was also a jury member to select Women Transforming India by Niti Aayog and jury member to select top 100 Women in Finance by AIWMI.

Balaji joined as the Group CFO of Tata Motors Group, a $40bn enterprise in the automotive sector. He is delighted to join this exciting business as it turns around the Indian business and as a Board Member of Jaguar Land Rover, help shape the strategy to navigate the business through the multiple disruptions facing the auto industry.

In addition to Jaguar Land Rover, he is also on the Boards of Tata Motors Finance Limited, Tata Motors Finance Solutions Limited, TMF Holdings Limited, Tata Technologies Limited, Tata Consumer Products Limited and TML Business Analytics Services Limited.

Prior to this, he was the VP Finance for South Asia and CFO of HUL, where he handled the financial aspects of a $6bn business.

Balaji started as Management Trainee in Unilever in May 1993 and has had a wide ranging experience in various aspects of the business over the various stints that he has done in Finance, Supply Chain and Procurement.

Balaji is a Mechanical Engineer from IIT Chennai and a PGDM from IIM Kolkatta.
