The Tata Technologies Leadership team is comprised of a diverse team of globally recognized executives with a combined 200+ years of business experience in engineering and design, product lifecycle management, manufacturing enterprise  IT and innovation. Committed to the principles of the Tata Business Excellence Model (TBEM) and determined to be the world’s number one partner to the manufacturing industry, the Tata Technologies leadership team guides an organization of more than 6,300 professionals with major offices in 14 countries to improve the business performance of over 5,000 clients. 
 

Patrick McGoldrick
Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director

Mr. McGoldrick is Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Tata Technologies Ltd. He has led the company since its inception. He began his career with the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory where he worked primarily on defense-related projects including the Mirror Fusion Test Facility for which he was the chief computer architect. In 1981, Mr. McGoldrick joined the Tata Group and honed his vision of applying technology to help manufacturers create better products, which led to the establishment of Tata Technologies. He has been instrumental in leading the company’s global expansion through the strategic acquisition of INCAT and iKnowledge Solutions (iKS) and the current joint venture with Hindustan Aeronautics. He is also a founding director of Tata Elxsi Ltd.

Mr. McGoldrick holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, and he earned a Master of Science Degree in Computer Science from Stanford University in California. He has also completed Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program

Warren Harris
President and Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Harris has been with the current Tata Technologies organization for more than 25 years where his roles have evolved from engineer to a number of technical management positions worldwide; until in 1998 he was named CEO of the company and served on its Board of Directors. He managed a worldwide expansion for the company, overseeing a merger that established the company as a major force in the U.S. In 2003, he launched a joint venture in Japan that became the foundation of Tata Technologies’ expansion in the Asia-Pacific region.

Mr. Harris is a recognized authority on global manufacturing. His expertise has been leveraged by media organizations including BusinessWeek, Crain’s Detroit Business, Automotive News, The Detroit Free Press, Gannett News Service and Automotive Engineering International. He also has contributed his insights to the book, “Globality – Competing With Everyone From Everywhere For Everything.”

In addition, he has presented to the National Academy of Sciences, Cambridge University, The Center for Automotive Research, the Society of Automotive Engineers; as well as at international forums hosted by Frost & Sullivan, and McKinsey and Associates.

Mr. Harris holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree (Honors), earned in 1986 from the University of Wales Institute of Science and Technology. He is a member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers and is a Chartered Engineer.  He is currently the Chairman of the Tata Network Forum in North America.  In October 2011, Mr. Harris graduated from the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program.

Executive Vice President and
Global Head of Business Excellence and Strategy
G Jagannathan is the Executive Vice President and Global Head of Business Excellence for Tata Technologies. He is responsible for driving excellence in Tata Technologies’ worldwide operations through continuous improvement, using the Tata Business Excellence Model (TBEM) framework.  He brings more than 38 years of overall experience in Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain Management, Re-engineering and Business Excellence to his role at Tata Technologies; and he holds the rare distinction of having led two flagship companies – Tata Steel and Tata Consultancy Services – to earning the JRD QV CII-EXIM Excellence Award.
 
He also served as the CEO of Tata Quality Management Services (TQMS), a division of Tata Sons Ltd.
 
He is a Mechanical Engineer, with a Master’s degree in Industrial Management from IIT Madras. He was selected by Tata Steel to attend the Advanced Management Program at INSEAD. Additionally, he served as a Malcolm Baldrige Examiner for four years in the United States; and is a Certified Value Specialist from the Society of American Value Engineers.

G Jagannathan is a Fellow of SAVE International, The Indian Value Engineering Society and the Indian Institute of Engineers. He is married, with two sons, and makes his home in the United States.
 
Samir Yajnik
President Sales & COO Asia Pacific
As President of Global Services, Mr. Yajnik oversees the services business of Tata Technologies with a special focus on offshore services growth. His engineering activities in India, Singapore, and London provide the acumen and experience needed to further extend Tata Technologies services to clients around the globe.

Mr. Yajnik served as the Chief Operating Officer for INCAT Asia Pacific from 2006 until 2009. Prior to his role as COO, Mr. Yajnik spent more than 10 years as Vice President of the Tata Technologies Engineering Automation Group in Singapore and London. Additional prior positions include Director of Operations for Intelligent Design Technologies, Product Manager for Far East Computers, and CAD Product Executive for Blue Star Ltd.

Mr. Yajnik holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, as well as a Master of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mississippi where he was awarded an assistantship and fellowship. He completed corporate finance courses at the London Business School and has had three white papers on Heat Transfer published by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) in the U.S. As a dedicated engineering advocate, he also serves as an advisor to the Engineering Service Outsourcing subgroup of the National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM).
 
Richard Welford, President – Jaguar Land Rover Strategic Business UnitRichard Welford
President of Sales - Europe
Mr. Welford uses his experience of over 25 years in the automotive field in his role as President – Jaguar Land Rover Strategic Business Unit, where he is responsible for all sales activities with Jaguar Land Rover globally. 
 
Most recently, Mr. Welford has led the growth of the Jaguar Land Rover account, developing the business from around $0.5M to a Strategic Business Unit now worth $100M per annum.  Mr. Welford joined Tata Technologies (at the time INCAT) in January 2005 to help the UK organization focus on establishing a presence in the automotive sector before taking a wider European role.  Before joining Tata Technologies, he occupied a number of Product and Project Engineering roles with Jaguar Cars, as well as holding Senior and Executive Engineering leadership roles with Autoliv, the number one automotive vehicle safety supplier.  While at Autoliv, he culminated his time there as Director of Research & Development for Autoliv North America, and helped Autoliv undergo a significant global engineering transformation program.  Mr. Welford has worked with many of the most prestigious names in the automotive industry across Europe, North America and Asia.
 
Mr. Welford started his career as an apprentice with Jaguar cars before being identified by Jaguar to take up a fulltime sponsored student path to study Mechanical Engineering.  He completed his Mechanical Engineering degree at Coventry University.

Mr. Welford is currently a member of the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) West Midlands Council (Septemer 2012).
 
Gerry GaffneyGerry Gaffney
President of Sales - NA
Mr. Gaffney is responsible for all sales and business development in the Americas for Tata Technologies. His global business development experience spans more than 25 years and includes engagements in Europe, the Americas in sectors such as high-tech, embedded electronics, engineering and IT services. Before joining the Tata Technologies team, Mr. Gaffney was CEO — Americas for Altium, where he led migration from a technical to an enterprise electronic product design, data management, and a supply-chain collaboration platform proposition.

During his 3-year leadership tenure he championed an aggressive channel-expansion strategy, which resulted in winning more than 1,600 new clients from established competition and rapid market share growth for the company.
Prior to Altium, Mr. Gaffney enjoyed a successful decade-long enterprise business development career at Cadence Design Systems, where he quickly climbed the ranks from individual sales to global account management and ultimately to senior regional sales leadership roles.  Mr. Gaffney gained his financial and professional services background at EDS, Serco and TUI in the UK.
Mr. Gaffney is a Charted Management Accountant (ACMA) and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), the latter being jointly recognized by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in the UK and the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA).  In addition to his everyday jobs, over the years Mr. Gaffney has been named to several board-level appointments with start-up companies while mentoring technology- and cloud-based portfolio businesses. Some of the organizations he’s been involved with include Cleantech Open, Astia and the overseas software practice of the British Consulate in San Francisco. Mr. Gaffney is a former member of the renowned “venture & mentor capital” outfit Sand Hill Angels.
 
Samrat Gupta
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Gupta brings more than 15 years of executive finance experience to Tata Technologies. As Chief Financial Officer, he is responsible for setting the financial vision for the organization including corporate accounting and tax management, foreign exchange management, hedge accounting, strategic alliances, large deals, formulation of the annual business plan, and improvement in reporting and accounting procedures.

Prior to joining Tata Technologies, Mr. Gupta worked for HCL Technologies, BNP Paribas Equities India Private Ltd., DSQ Software Ltd., and PricewaterhouseCoopers. His background includes advising corporations through restructuring, expansion and capital market transactions and providing leadership to drive improved financial performance. He has particular expertise in global assignments related to acquisition, corporate reorganization, private placement, valuation, deal negotiation, investor relations, financing and structuring.

Mr. Gupta graduated with an MBA in International Financial Management and M&A from the Manchester Business School in England, and received his Bachelor of Commerce in Accountancy, Mathematics, and Business Economics with Honors from Calcutta University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and was awarded the NTSE for Mathematics by the Government of India.
 
Anubhav Kapoor
General Counsel and Company Secretary
Mr. Kapoor is Tata Technologies’ General Counsel and Company Secretary. Mr. Kapoor joined Tata Technologies in 2006 and is responsible for Tata Technologies’ global legal, regulatory and corporate governance activities and policies. He oversees legal issues such as structuring strategic business contracts, intellectual property rights, legal due diligence, mergers, joint ventures, arbitration and litigation management.

Mr. Kapoor’s background includes dealing with high-visibility boards of directors and handling complex board matters such as those related to insider trading, private and public offerings, and Employee Stock Ownership Plans. Mr. Kapoor has been instrumental in implementing various corporate governance initiatives. Before joining Tata Technologies, Mr. Kapoor provided legal expertise to companies including Polaris Software, Domino's Pizza, and Allied Nippon. Prior to his involvement with Tata Technologies, Mr. Kapoor was a member of the ASSOCHAM Expert Committee on Company Law in 2005 and is a regular speaker at various forums and conferences on topics related to strategic risk management and managing intellectual property rights.

Mr. Kapoor is currently a member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and a law graduate from CCS Haryana Agricultural University, India. He completed his MBA in Finance and Information Technology at the Institute of Management Technology Ghaziabad, India.
 
V. Balaji
Chief Information Officer
Mr. Balaji brings more than 18 years of IT and process re-engineering and transformation experience to his role as Tata Technologies Chief Information Officer. As CIO, Mr. Balaji is responsible for the flow of information, coordination, assessment, and synchronization of all organization policies and standardization requirements for the information enterprise of Tata Technologies.

Prior to his 2007 appointment as CIO, Mr. Balaji led the INCAT Enterprise Solutions Group. His distinguished career includes leadership roles at Harman/Becker Automotive Systems, Inc.; Anchor Glass Container Corporation; and the Ladish Co., Inc. Mr. Balaji possesses broad IT knowledge from his long history in the aerospace, automotive, and consumer goods sectors.

Mr. Balaji earned a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, as well as a Master of Science Degree in Manufacturing and Systems Engineering from Ohio State University in the U.S.
 
Nick Sale
COO, Europe
Mr. Nick Sale is COO – Europe for Tata Technologies. He was appointed to his position in April 2010, and has been with the organization for nearly 19 years; most recently heading European Delivery operations.

Mr. Sale served in a number of critical roles prior to his appointment as COO – Europe including UK Services Manager, EU PLM Services Manager, European Delivery Head, and Global Delivery Practice Head. In addition, he served two years as North American Consulting Manager (1998-2000), at the Company’s North American headquarters office in metro Detroit.

Mr. Sale holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bath University, where he earned 1st class honors, and graduated as top student.
 
Kevin Noe, CMOKevin Noe
Chief Marketing Officer

Mr. Noe brings more than 30 years of business and engineering experience to his role as Chief Marketing Officer at Tata Technologies.  As CMO, Mr. Noe is responsible for the company’s global strategic image and brand development initiatives, and for creating market demand and opportunity realization. Prior to Tata Technologies he spent 15 years as the president and CEO of Cadpo, a private engineering technology and services company. Cadpo was acquired by INCAT/Tata Technologies in 2005. At Cadpo, Kevin’s leadership enabled the company to expand its operations throughout Europe, Asia and North America. Mr. Noe previously worked for EDS, McDonnell Douglas and Elgin Sweeper in various management positions. He is a U.S. patent holder, and an Eagle Scout.

He received a bachelor of arts degree from Judson University in Elgin Illinois in 1979, and completed management studies at Aurora University in Aurora, Illinois.  He is an avid mountain climber; having summited more than 100 peaks around the world. He resides in Castle Rock, Colorado.
 
Archit GuptaArchit Gupta
Head - Office of Strategic Management
Mr. Gupta leads the Office of Strategic Management (OSM) for Tata Technologies where he plays a key role in implementing strategy by driving the execution of key initiatives within the company. Mr. Gupta is responsible for creating and managing the Enterprise Performance Management System. He and his team track progress on important corporate initiatives, and assist the President and Chief Operating Officer and the extended leadership team by providing overall governance through the use of Strategy Maps and Balanced Scorecard.
 
Mr. Gupta brings more than 8 years of experience to his role of Head Office of Strategic Management. Before joining Tata Technologies, Mr. Gupta was part of the Management Consulting Division of Accenture, where he was involved in various projects across industries in the area of Enterprise Performance Management, Corporate Finance, and Corporate Strategy. He has also had experience at KPIT Cummins where he was responsible for Treasury, Management Reporting, and other initiatives. Since joining Tata Technologies in 2008, Mr. Gupta has worked in various capacities including strategy, corporate finance, large deals and business planning. Prior to assuming his current position, Mr. Gupta led the operational efficiencies initiative throughout the organization, along with being involved in strategy development and deployment. 
 
Mr. Gupta holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce in Accountancy, Advance Statistics, and Business Economics from the University of Pune, India, and he earned an MBA in the area of Financial Management from Institute of Management Development and Research (IMDR) of Pune, India.
